New Balance has been my favorite in the world of sneakers for the last few years. They’ve been on fire on a consistent basis. Sick colorways and top-notch quality — especially those Made in USA and UK jams — always keep me on the lookout every season. I have a really solid rotation of NB sneakers and out of all of the pairs that I own, I have to say that as far as their classic styles go, the 996 is it for me. The look of this silhouette is pretty much perfect in my eyes. And out of the various styles, I think the 996 sits atop the list as far as comfort goes, too.
While visiting the New Balance booth during the last round of trade shows, this “color pack” (I am naming it that due to the colorful nature of these shoes; it’s not an official moniker) caught my eye. As you guys know, when it comes to NB, grey reigns supreme as far as their colorways go, but every season there’s some that go against the grain thanks to the aid of some wonderful colors. That’s the case with these guys. Here we see three vivid editions of the shoe in purple, light blue and some kinda pale green. They all look fly in my opinion, but that blue color might be the winner of the bunch. What do you guys think?
